ABOUT HUBIE
Hubie Kluesner was born in Washington, Missouri April 23rd, 1953. As a young man Hubie developed a strong work ethic working with his father William on the Kluesner family farm. Growing up and
working on other farms in the agrarian community, Hubie learned the importance of cultivating strong social bonds. He attended St. Vincent De Paul parochial grammar school and then Washington High
School where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He served as President of the Washington FFA Chapter in 1970-71.
Hubie served in the U.S. Army as a communications sergeant during the Vietnam war.
Hubie married his wife Alice in 1975. They have 4 children together Nathanial, Erin, Nicolas, and Elizabeth. Hubie and Alice also have 2 grandchildren.
Their son Nick served in the U.S. Army where he toured Iraq. He has returned home safely and has begun helping Hubie run the family farm.
In 1974 Hubie started his own farm operation, and has been a full time agrarian since. He has managed a successful farrow to finish hog operation, totaling a 200 sow herd until 2002. He has
relinquished the hog operation, but still has approximately 100 cow/calf herd, corn, soybean, wheat and hay farm. Hubie and his son farm over 1100 acres of Warren County.
Hubie enjoys spending time with his family, meeting new people in the community, his lifelong friendships, relaxing with his horses, hunting and fishing.
